Resort Amenities
Around the resort are a variety of exciting things to do and to see. Unlike most hotels and lodges, Twin Waters Resort offers renters a plethora of activities and locations to explore on the grounds outside of each individual cabin. Here you can view everything the resort offers as you decide where to stay as you plan your visit to the North Woods. Below are photos of each of the amenities available along with specific descriptions of each area when you hover over each photo.
Lost Creek is located directly behind the resort with a public dock accessible by all Twin Waters renters. Here you can fish, go kayaking or canoeing, or sit and read a book. The possibilities are endless.
Located in the center of the resort is a fire-pit with a stack of pre-cut firewood for all renters interested in having a jovial, late-night fire.
Directly next to the fire-pit is a badminton/volleyball net, a tether-ball pole, and a horseshoes sand pit for anyone interested in playing outdoors on the resort grounds. All badminton/volleyball equipment can be found in the game room along with a croquet set, free of charge.
Even on a rainy day, the resort has a variety of exciting games including a pool table, foosball and various board games. If you're looking for a late night or mid-day movie, there are many DVDs to choose from and borrow too.
Attached directly to the game room, there is a small screened in shack equip with a porcelain sink, cutting boards, buckets, cleaning supplies, and a freezer for all fishermen/fisher-women interested in filleting their catch(es) of the day.
Nestled between the Menominee and Chippewa cabins there is a sand beach accessible to all renters wishing to relax or go for a leisurely swim on a sunny day.
Next to the beach are a variety of boats--row boats, paddle boats, canoes, kayaks, paddle boards--available to renters interested in renting the vessels for a day or an entire week. The boathouse adjacent to these boats is open and filled with any water amenities necessary for using the rented boats.
Behind the sandy beach is a small play set with two swings and a slide for any children wishing to enjoy this amenity while their family lounges nearby.
